A passion for creating, as well as an ability to solve problems quickly, may make this career field the one for you.What Will You Do? Each year, the Navy completes hundreds of construction, renovation, maintenance and building projects all over the world. You may find yourself surveying a critical airstrip location or conducting tests on soil samples for an amphibious landing zone. Or you may piece together satellite images to form large-image maps of a foreign town destroyed by an earthquake or a typhoon, providing important information for rescue and rebuilding efforts. The duties found in this field are of the utmost importance to the Navy and call for detail-oriented, resourceful and creative personnel. Under the general supervision of the Project Executive, the Project Manager shall perform all necessary administration and management duties.  This would include responsibility for everything from project planning through project closeout.   The Project Manager shall also be responsible for the adherence to design and construction standards and procedures.  These standards and procedures are required to be consistently utilized by all subcontractors and Berglund employees during the design and construction processes.
